Ari Bernardus Lasso, better known as Ari Lasso is an Indonesian singer, songwriter, musician and former lead vocalist of Dewa 19. After his dismissal from Dewa 19, Lasso became a solo singer. He released his first solo album "Sendiri Dulu" in 2001
Starting his career by joining rock band Dewa, Ari Lasso left to start his own career after being dismissed due to a sensitive circumstances. He put out the first album titled "Sendiri Dulu", followed by other albums that rose to popularity in instant. Nowadays, apart of being a singer, he also becomes judges in music competitions.
