Blacklite District (also referred to as BLD) is an alternative rock / hip hop duo from the Black Hills of South Dakota consisting of vocalist and producer Kyle Pfeiffer, and Roman James.The groups sound relies heavily on the influence of hip hop, hard rock, and pop.In 2017-2018, Blacklite District rose to YouTube fame with over 130 million combined streams worldwide after launching a Minecraft animated music video collaboration and scored two Top 40 singles on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart.Billboard premiered the acts video "Hard Pill to Swallow" October 2018.Blacklite District released their latest album Through The Ages on November 23, 2018 via AK19 Entertainment.
