Throughout the early 2010s, Trevor Jackson made his musical debut and proceeded to juggle dual careers as an actor and pop-oriented R&B musician. Jackson, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, played Young Simba in The Lion King's Chicago production before moving to Los Angeles to be closer to the film, television and music industries.
