Hit Me Like A Drum

Marcus Fuereder, better known by his stage name, Parov Stelar, is an Austrian musician, composer, producer and DJ. His musical style is based on a combination of jazz, house, electro and pop.

Parov Stelar's electro-swinging" sound, enhanced with creative sampling, proved to be popular in the compilation and DJ-mix market. He released the 2001 album Shadow Kingdom on his Bushido label. During the mid-2010s, he took home several Amadeus Austrian Music Awards. The Art of Sampling is his second album to peak within the Top 10 of the Ö3 Austria Top 40 chart. The Demon Diaries is his third album released on Island Records in 2015.
