Terry MacAlmon (born May 12, 1955) is an American Christian songwriter, recording artist and worship leader.He is the founder and president of New Glory International, a worship ministry based in Dallas, Texas.He leads worship in conferences, retreats, worship seminars, and churches in the United States and abroad. MacAlmon announced in May 2008, in a letter to ministry supporters, that he was stepping down from his own ministry after having an extramarital affair, saying "I don't have a timeline as to if or when I will return to ministry, but I know I cannot go forward with my soul in this condition."His former wife Greta said at the time that she had planned to file for legal separation, saying counseling and a restoration process had failed, but believing that he and his ministry would one day be restored.The couple were divorced in April 2009, and MacAlmon returned to active ministry in 2010.
