Joy Elizabeth Williams (born November 14, 1982) is an American singer-songwriter.The winner of four Grammy Awards, Williams has released four solo albums and four EP s since her self-titled debut in 2001.She was half of the Civil Wars duo from 2009 until 2014.

Joy Williams is part of the duo The Civil Wars from 2009 until 2014. She made her solo career in 2001 with self-titled album. Then, she continously released another albums. Her music career earned her three awards from Grammy Award.
