In 1994, Belle and Sebastian were formed in Glasgow by Stuart Murdoch and Stuart David. In August 1996, they were signed with Jipster Records. The band was realeased new single, "We Were Beautiful" in mid-2017. The band announced their new member "Dave McGowan" on 3 November 2018.
