Fazilpuria, whose real name is Rahul Yadav, got his stage name after the village he hails from Fazilpur, near Gurgaon. After creating waves with his Haryanvi song `Chull`, which is now a part of the movie `Kapoor and Sons`, he is keen to promote Haryanvi music in Bollywood.

Fazilpuria’s first song titled Chull with Badshah was a hit and was later used for the movie Kapoor and Sons. He went on to record a few singles since his debut & has been recording in Haryanvi & Hindi languages.
