Farid Hardja (born in Sukabumi , 7 September 1950 - died in Jakarta , 27 December 1998 at the age of 48) is a singer and songwriter in the Indonesian pop music industry .
Farid Hardja began his music career in 1966. In Bandung , Farid has joined the group De Zieger who plays rock and roll which among others sing the repertoire of The Rolling Stones . A year later Farid Hardja returned to his hometown, Sukabumi, and formed the more dominant Bani Adam group playing rock and roll colors and a little R&B.
