The Swedish pop band Whipped Cream formed in 1989 comprising Jörgen Cremonese, Elisabeth Punzis, Lars Erik Grimelund, and Jonas Sonesson. A group whose music has always tried to defy simple categorization, they made an impressive debut with Whipped Cream And Other Delights, released in 1990. The music fluctuated from neo-ambient passages to psychedelia of the 60s, with atmospheric guitar-playing reminiscent of UK rock bands like My Bloody Valentine. But perhaps the biggest strength of the group was the unique vocal blend that Cremonese and Punzis had achieved. Even better received Tune In The Century, a domestic magazine noted it as 'a milestone in the recording history of Sweden.'
