Cody Jon

CODY JON is not your typical 21 year old - he writes music that reaches much further than the four walls of his bedroom studio and performs as if ready to take on an arena. Inspired by everything from 1980s ballads to 90s pop and armed with a head full of ideas, CODY has a sensibility that is already well beyond his years which has him writing/producing songs capable of putting a spring in the step of the dullest of days. Throw in an abundance of talents learned through his time at Ettingshausens Dance, Theater and Martial arts studio and you’ll find a very unique brand of artist. In 2020 he caught the attention of triple j off the back of self released singles ‘what’s up’ and ‘incognito’, with the latter receiving a great deal of praise, including Kingsmill chiming in - ‘you’ve got a heap of ideas, good ones too’. It may be early days but it won’t be long until CODY JON is knocking down the door to enter the highest ranks of alt-pop stalwarts.
