In January and March 2019 Springsteen released his second and third live series compilation albums The Live Series: Songs of Friendship and The Live Series: Songs of Hope.On April 25, 2019 it was confirmed that Springsteen's nineteenth studio album, Western Stars, will be released on June 14, 2019. On May 25, 2019, Springsteen was in Rome to support his daughter's equestrian event and was quoted by Italian newspaper la Repubblica saying that an E Street Band album and tour will happen in 2020.
