Slow Motion

There are artists who bring their talent from the cradle, others who develop it over the years, but the ultimate characteristic that makes a person succeed in their artistic career is only one: their passion for art. In the case of Kaynã Reis, or Slow Motion, this love for the musical notes was already perceived at an early age when he scratched the guitar and while growing up in an environment surrounded by musical influences. On one side, rock 'n' roll riffs, and on the other, hip-hop culture. In the middle of this mixture, the beats of electronic music appeared, and it was from this fusion of styles that he began to build the strong sound identity he has today. Whether on stage or in his productions, his sound brings urban references and presents a contrast between solid beats and melancholic overtones, energizing body and soul. The artistic explosion in his career came when he signed alongside Vintage Culture for the remix of Sofi Tukker's "Drinkee" in 2016, a song played millions of times that reverberates to this day. Evolving remarkably, he released "Slow Down" in April 2020, a track that perfectly blends his main influences and demonstrates that he continues to innovate without letting go of his roots. There is still a lot of ground to be covered by Slow Motion, and he doesn't intend to stop any time soon.
