Mariani Oelong

Mariani is a singer-songwriter and financial protection planner. A Chinese descendant who’s in love with her archipelago country, Indonesia. Because of her love to Indonesian culture, she likes to wear batik cloth for her appearance. 
 In a way, she likes traveling, one of them is hiking mountains. The unique essence of having a career in finance industry and entertainment, as well as traveling hobbies, makes her see the world deeper and wider. Her inspiration for writing poetry that was applied to songs was obtained through various personal experiences. From love stories, friendships, to travel journey throughout Indonesia. 
 In the midst of 2021 pandemic situation, she debuted her first EP, entitled ‘Bercumbu’. A compilation of millions of feelings that have arisen through the process of her maturation as a woman. About the struggle, search, and acceptance that she’s gone through since her early 20s until now exactly 25 years she has lived in this world. This courage begins with a heart that is moved to start realizing the dreams that she craves from an early age. 
 Her unique way of singing in creating ethnic nuances with a touch of Javanese sinden makes the songs she sings have the characteristics of archipelago in a contemporary wrapping.
