Dhee

Dheekshitha Venkadeshan, known professionally as Dhee, is an Australian Indian playback singer who has appeared in Tamil movies. She was born to an Indian classic singer, Meenakshi Iyer, who later remarried music composer Santhosh Narayanan. Dhee has sung songs in the albums of her stepfather, Santhosh Narayanan, and is known for her distinctive alto voice.

Dhee began her playback singing career by performing songs in two of Santhosh Narayanan albums, Pizza II: Villa in 2013 and Cuckoo in 2014. Dhee made a breakthrough by singing 'Naan Nee' from Pa. Ranjith's Madras the same year. Dhee later worked with Santhosh Narayanan in critically acclaimed albums including Kaala and Vada Chennai, before collaborating with Yuvan Shankar Raja for the song 'Rowdy Baby' in Maari 2 in 2018.
