Varun Dhawan

Born to film director David Dhawan, Varun Dhawan is an Indian actor known for his work in the Bollywood film industry. Dhawan made his debut in the Indian film industry with Karan Johar’s teen drama ‘Student of the Year’ for which his performance won him three most promising newcomer and best male debut awards. Often commended for his comic timing, Dhawan has been compared to the legendary actor Govinda after his performances in the 2014 comedy ‘Main Tera Hero’ and ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ for which he lent his voice to the song, ‘Lucky Tu Lucky Me’ as well. Dhawan’s done numerous films since, delivering some of the most acclaimed performances of his career. He also lent his voice again as a playback singer for the song ‘Happy Birthday’ from his film ABCD 2 in 2016. He was seen most recently in Remo D’Souza’s Indian dance-drama Streetdancer 3D in January 2020 and is set to release his next film Coolie No. 1 alongside Sara Ali Khan, next.
