Shraddha Kapoor

The daughter of actor Shakti Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor is an Indian actress and singer who works in Hindi movies. In addition to acting in movies, Kapoor has also performed some of her film songs. Hailing from a family of actors, Kapoor decided to become an actress at a young age.

Kapoor made her acting debut in Teen Patti's 2010 drama, alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Ben Kingsley and R. Madhavan. In 2013, Kapoor found a breakthrough in Mohit Suri's romantic musical drama Aashiqui 2, the sequel to the 1990 film Aashiqui. In addition to acting in movies, Kapoor supported charitable organisations, performed on stage shows and sang in her movies. She also walked the Lakme Fashion Week ramp for various fashion designers and was a cover model for many magazines. Later, in March 2015, she launched her own women's clothing line, called Imara.
