Fajar Merah

Fajar Merah is an Indonesian musician and Wiji Thukul’s son who was a labor activist and poet who went missing in 1998. A lot of songs that Fajar wrote are from his father's poems.

Fajar Merah launched his debut single "Bunga dan Tembok”, inspired by a poem written by his father during the New Order. Fajar Merah started to move on from the long shadow of his father by bringing a new theme in his album entitled "Nyanyian Sukma Lara."
