Cícero Rosa Lins, better known by Cicero, is a Brazilian singer, songwriter and producer.
Before graduating in law, the musician joined the indie rock band Alice in high school (in which he graduated from the Technical College of UFRRJ, located in Seropédica), with which he recorded two albums (Anteluz, 2005, and Noise, 2007), but that ended in 2008. Cícero launched his first CD, Canções de Apartamento in 2011, producing, recording and playing all the instruments at home and making available for free download. The album won two Multishow Awards for Brazilian Music in 2012, in the categories Shared Music (for the album) and Version of the Year (for its version of the song "Conversa de Botas Batidas", Los Hermanos). Recorded again in a homemade way, Cícero launches in 2013 its second disc, Saturday, this time with participations of Marcelo Camelo, Silva and Mahmundi. In 2015, Cícero released his album A Praia, his third unpublished album. Cícero & Albatroz is the fourth album from carioca, which was released on December, 2017 by Sony Music. The first record of the new work, the song "A cidade", was released through a clip on YouTube, in addition to being available for streaming.
