Akhtar Channal

Akhtar Chanal Zahri, a renowned Balochi singer in Pakistan, gained fame through the TV series Coke Studio. Trained by Ustad Haji Khan, Zahri popularized regional and folk music, performing for political leaders and at other notable events showcasing his musical heritage.

Akhtar Channal gained popularity with his song 'Deer Deer Kewa' in 1974. He toured worldwide, including the US and Europe. His timeless hit 'Daanah Pah Daanah' continues to be cherished. He debuted in Bollywood with 'Afghan Jalebi' in 2015 and provided vocals to songs in the film Mirzya in 2016.
