Richard Colson Baker (born April 22, 1990), who goes by stage name Machine Gun Kelly (abbreviated as MGK), is an American rapper and actor from Cleveland, Ohio. His stage name inspired from criminal George "Machine Gun Kelly" Barners.
Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) get his first exposure through the show "Sucker Free Freestyle" that aired on MTV2. Then, MGK debut his mixtape "100 Words and Running" in 2010. In the same year, he made his debut with the single "Alice In Wonderland" which it music video won an award from Ohio Hip Hop Award. In 2015, MGK released his second album "General Admission" and debuted at number 4 on the Billboard 200 chart. His breaktrough in rap career is with the song "Bad Things" where Camilla Cabello featuring in it. "Bad Things" become the title song for his album "bloom" which released in 2016. In 2018, MGK got into feud with rapper Eminem and released "Rap Devil" as the response for Eminem's diss track. Not only become a rapper, MGK also working as an actor. He made his film debut with the movie "Beyond the Lights" which released in 2014. In 2018, he becomes the supporting actor for Netflix movie "Bird Box".
