Life & Career

Costa Gold came into being in early 2012, when Lucas Predella, with the demise of his group Astúcia Crew, invited Adonai MC, founder and organizer of the Battle of Beco, to start a new project. Soon after DeeJay Riscano also called Eros joined the group, which produced beats of the well-known songs "Domino Effect" and "Marginal Alchemy" among others, left the group after the release of the CD "Domino Effect". Three months later, Adonai met Nog at the Battle of Alley and introduced him to Predella, closing the set of Costa Gold MCs. DJ Cidy, who was already playing at parties and studying at the same place as Nog, was noticed by MC and joined Costa Gold. Costa Gold released an unofficial online EP titled PLOW (Punch Lines on the World) as early as 2012. Sequentially began the proposal for a trilogy entitled “Vicious Cycle”, which had its first chapter released in early 2013, the EP online Domino effect. At the end of the same year the second chapter was released, the mixtape “Epiphany”, and in November 2014 the final chapter of the cycle Cycle Vicioso was released, the album “Posfácio.
