Johannes Heil

Johannes Heil is a German producer of Techno and a live performer. At the tender age of 14, he took his first steps towards being one of the most prolific producers on the stage in Heiko Laux's Techno Bistro 'Kanzleramt' in Bad Nauheim. Laux noticed the potential of the young artist and took him under his wings.

Johannes Heil's debut single 'Paranoid Dancer' is considered to be one of Techno's all-time classics. Heil's work has featured on labels such as Cocoon Records, Break New Soil, Klang Elektronic, and Len Faki's 'Figure' label, which has featured frequently since 2013. His thoughtfulness manifests itself in his music, every album represents his soul, with musical experiences as diverse as Trance, Electro, Dub or Ambient. In 2015, he set up a base camp Exile together with Markus Suckut, both of whom released three singles of their excellent teamwork, whose next album released in 2015. Heil's music is performed across the globe every weekend in clubs like Omen. Heil collaborated with local legend Sven Väth and created 'Dein Schweiss' with him for the classic 'De in Schweiss.' His early works have long since been part of the long-term memory of Techno's past. Blending tradition and progress, past and future, his art is a soundtrack for the present.
