Castaneda

Castaneda was an American band based in Los Angeles, California, that formed in early 2007.The original members are Vega Schenk (now Vega Blackwell)(lead vocals, guitar), Rob Derba (keys), Warren Nelson (lead guitar), Dana (bass) and Sasha Veniziano (drums).Dana and Sasha left and were briefly replaced by Adam Reese and Mike Schneider before the band broke up. Vega Schenk went onto play bass in the LA band Magic Wands.He is currently releasing a new solo project under the name Midnight Drones.The first release will be put out on the famous Bong Load Custom Records and is produced and mixed by Tom Rothrock.It will be released sometime in early 2019.
