Angus Gill

Angus Gill is a country music singer/songwriter from Wauchope on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales.Gill was a grand finalist in the prestigious Toyota Star Maker competition at the 2017 Tamworth Country Music Festival.He released his self-produced debut album Nomad on September 15, 2017 via Checked Label Services.The album features collaborations with Golden Guitar winners Adam Harvey, Gina Jeffreys, Kevin Bennett of The Flood, Luke O’Shea, Bill Chambers, Drew McAlister, Troy Kemp, Mike Carr, Amos Morris and others.The lead single Roadworks debuted at #6 on the AMRAP Airit Regional Airplay Charts and the album debuted at #13 on the ARIA Country Albums Chart.He has made appearances on several national radio and television programs, such as The Daily Edition, Studio 10 and the Ray Hadley Morning Show.In October 2018, Gill was named the Male Rising Star at the 22nd Australian Independent Country Music Awards.
