The Rain is a four-piece pop rock band from Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Formed in 2001, the line-up has never changed for over 19 years. Indra Prasta (lead vocals, guitars), Iwan Tanda (guitars, vocals), Ipul Bahri (bass, vocals) & Aang Anggoro (drums, vocals).
The Rain has released six studio albums and is one of the few bands in Indonesia that has survived for more than 15 years without changing personnel. Their first album, "Hujan Kali Ini", was released in 2003 and two years later, The Rain completed the album Senandung Kala Hujan, with hits such as 'Tolong Aku'and 'Persimpangan'. In November 2013, they took the indie track by establishing their own label, Heavy Rain Records. The single that made The Rain's name soar is the Terlatih Patah Hati which was released as the beginning of the single trilogy on November 18, 2013-2015.
