Rauf & Faik

Rauf & Faik are a Russian-Azerbaijani pop duet, formed by twin brothers Rauf and Faik Mirzaev. The brothers inherited their interest in music from their maternal grandfather who was an opera singer and director. They started studying music when they were only 4 which led them to eventually go on and take it up professionally. The brothers cite Brian McKnight and Michael Jackson as their biggest musical influences and more recently, artists XXXTentacion and Post Malone. Their first music video — released for the song ‘Love Remained Yesterday’ amassed several hundred thousand views, and thousands of likes, resulting in offers for them to sing at multiple venues. Their subsequent song ‘I Love You’, became the 28th most popular song of 2018 on the Russian social networking site VKontakte. The track, ‘Childhood’ from the duo’s debut album, I Love You reached number one on VKontakte in 2018. The brothers have toured in over 20 cities in Russia and Estonia, Finland, Sweden, and Germany since the advent of their careers.
