Thaman S

Thaman S. is an Indian film composer who predominantly works in Telugu cinema and Tamil cinema. Although Thaman entered the film industry as an actor in a supporting role in the Tamil movie Boys, he soon turned to composing film music and became famous for his work as a music director.

Thaman S. began his career as an actor in Tamil film Boys and as a composer with the Tamil film Sindhanai Sei, while his first Telugu film was Kick in 2009. In May 2017, Rohit Shetty signed Thaman for his Golmaal Again, a comedy franchise in Bollywood. This marked Thaman's Bollywood debut. In the following year, he composed a theme song for Rohit Shetty's successful venture Simmba starring Ranveer Singh. Aagadu in 2014 marked Thaman's 50th film as a music director and Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava in 2018 was Thaman's 100th film as a music director. He owns a music band named Thakkali.
