Puneeth Rajkumar is an Indian film actor, playback singer, anchor and producer who works primarily in Kannada. Puneeth is active in philanthropy with his mother at the Shakti Dhama Ashram in Mysore and owns the Bengaluru Premier Futsal team. He is also the promoter and owner of the PRK Audio music label with over 8,82 lakh subscribers on YouTube.
Puneeth has been onscreen since he was six months old, starting with the movie Premada Kanike in 1976. In 1983, he appeared in two mythological films: Bhakta Prahlada as the protagonist, Prahlada, and Eradu Nakshatragalu. In 2002, Puneeth made his film debut as a leading man in the masala film, Appu. After a series of acting in various productions, Puneeth returned to the limelight in 2010 with back-to-back hits. In 2019 his movie Natasaarvabhowma was released and also had commercial success. As for singing, Puneeth sang alone in Appu and sang a duet on 'Jothe Jotheyali' from Vamshi
