ATGF was formed in 2009, creating what they best describe as Urdu & Hindi easy acoustic ballads folk rock/ rock n roll.The band is widely regarded as one of the most innovative bands in the hindi - rock space.

Ankur & The Ghalat Family, have performed at the esteemed venue, Esplanade - Theaters on the Bay, Singapore and have shared the stage with pioneers like Raul Midon, Fink and Norah Jones.
