Geetha Madhuri

Geetha Madhuri is an Indian playback singer and dubbing artist who works mainly in the South Indian film industry. She became famous for the song 'ninne ninne' from the movie Nachavule, for which she won the Nandi Award as the best female playback singer. Since childhood, she has been practising singing. Her parents trained her in classical and light music, initially under Smt. Kocharlakota Padmavati Garu, 'then under Ramachari Garu in little musicians academy.' She was a semi-finalist in the SYE Challenge of Singers (musical show) conducted by the ETV Telugu channel.

Geetha Madhuri made her debut as a playback singer with Kulasekhar's film Premalekha Rasa. She has sung in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam. She has recorded more than 1000 songs for various movies and albums. Madhuri is also the runner up of Big Boss season 2 Telugu reality show which was hosted by actor Nani aired on Star Maa.
