Axwell and Ingrosso made their debut performance at the 2014 Governors Ball Music Festival in New York City in June. The duo has spawned 8 top ten Billboard Dance hits and has amassed over 1 billion streams worldwide. In August 2018, Axwell Λ Ingrosso announced that they would be going on hiatus in order to focus on the Swedish House Mafia reunion. The three DJs announced that new music would be released in 2019 along with a Swedish House Mafia tour.
