Bio

The Wu-Tang Clan were the most revolutionary rap group of the '90s. They were assembled as a loose congregation of nine MCs, almost as a support group. The Clan were designed to overtake the record industry in as profitable a fashion as possible. The idea was to establish themselves as a force with their debut album and then spin off into as many side projects. Wu-Tang's nine members have worked under a number of pseudonyms. The collective's name was taken from a powerful, mythical kung fu sword wielded by an invincible congregation of warriors.

Life & Career

Their hits include 'RZArecta' and 'The RZA-inspired R&B Experience' The Wu-Tang Clan has been dormant since 2007. Their last album, 8 Diagrams, was not released until 2011.
