Melim

Melim is a Brazilian musical trio formed by brothers Gabriela melim ( Niterói , 2 of July of 1994 ), Rodrigo melim ( Niterói , 29 of October of 1992 ) and Diogo melim ( Niterói , 29 of October of 1992 ). Influenced by their parents, they developed a taste for music as a child. The first instrument they gained from their parents was a keyboard. They then began to study music, including singing, guitar, keyboard and drums.

In November 2017, they signed a contract with Universal Music and in December they released single "Meu Abrigo", which was successful on streaming platforms. The song was certified with platinum by Pro-Música Brasil (PMB) and also entered the Billboard Brasil charts, including Hot 100 Airplay and Pop Brasil. In June 2018, the trio's debut album, also titled Melim, was released. The album consists of 16 copyrighted songs, including previously released tracks, and had as its first single the song "Heard Say." In August, singer Ivete Sangalo launched a collaboration with Melim titled "A Signal". In October, singer Sandy released the song "Eu Pra Você", which features the trio's vocals.
