Bio

Sahir Ali Bagga is a Pakistani singer, music director, and composer from Lahore, who’s popular for his work in Lollywood and with other independent singers. Son of composer Amjad Hussain, Bagga started his career in music as a drummer and later joined the band Jupiters, where he met music video singer Jawad Ahmad. He went on to compose for Ahmad’s album soon after and was adopted by the Pakistan Army as an official singer of National Armed Forces, after Noor Jehan. Bagga first received recognition and praise for his work and musical arrangements on the Pakistani television show, Virsa: Heritage Revived in 2009 and has composed for the likes of Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Azra Jehan, and Sanam Marvi amongst others. Bagga has also lent his voice as a singer for some OSTs of popular TV dramas like O Rangreza, Iltija, Khudgarz, and Intezaar. His work for O Rangreza earned him a nomination at the Lux Style Awards in 2018. Bagga also appeared on the tenth season of the popular musical television series, Coke Studio Pakistan with Aima Baig.
