Isabela Lima, known by name IZA, is a Brazilian pop singer, dancer and songwriter, who rose to fame recording cover songs of artists such as Beyoncé and Rihanna in her Youtube Channel.
Life & Career
Iza cites as her greatest influences the American singers Whitney Houston and Beyoncé. In addition, the singer has as reference the main names of black music worldwide, including Mariah Carey, Lauryn Hill, Tina Turner, Diana Ross and Janet Jackson. Among the Brazilian artists are Negra Li, Luciana Mello and Fernanda Abreu from whom the singer is inspired by critically-pop pop songs. She became known in 2016 after being hired by Warner Music. In 2018 she was nominated for a Latin Grammy for her debut album "Dona de Mim".
