Julia Michaels

Julia Michaels of Los Angeles is a talented singer/songwriter bent on R&B-inflected, dance-oriented pop. She initially gained attention to a variety of collaborations, including Kygo 's 2016 single 'Carry Me,' before landing on Billboard 200 with her debut EP, Nervous System.

Julia Michaels started her career by composing songs for such artists like Demi Lovato, Fifth Harmony, Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran, Shakira, Linkin Park. She also performed at the closing ceremony of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Michaels released her debut solo single, 'Issues,' in 2017 which went multi-platinum in the U.S., Australia, and Norway while her debut EP, Nervous System, peaked in the Top 50 on the Billboard 200. In 2019, Michaels issued the first in a series of EPs titled Inner Monologue and joined Diplo and Morgan Wallen for a re-recorded version of 'Heartless.' in 2020.
