Maneva

Maneva is a Brazilian reggae band, founded in 2005 by members Tales and Diego.

In April of 2006, they entered the studio to produce the first work of the band, titled Maneva, where in the midst of the recordings, they met Felipe (guitar), one of the technicians involved in the work, who after the band's invitation came to Fernando (bass) and Fábio (drums), thus materializing the band's current formation. The CD, released in September 2006, has 8 tracks, among them “Daquele Jeito”, “Meu Pai é Rastafar-I” e “Preto Pobre Suburbano”, , which are widely accepted by the public. Maneva shows and performed on the radios of São Paulo. After touring in the state of São Paulo, in April 2009, they returned to the studio to produce the new CD titled "Tempo de Paz", with 12 tracks, bringing to the work great influences of MPB, Rock and Jazz, obtaining a significant number of downloads, highlighting the songs "Saudades do Tempo", "Não Vá dizer que Não" and "Ruínas", which made the band able to present their work in several states of the country.
