The Unlikely Candidates are an American indie rock band from Fort Worth, Texas.The band formed in the year 2008.

Their single "Follow My Feet" peaked at number six on the Adult Alternative Songs chart.The song also peaked at number thirty five on the Alternative Songs chart. Their hit single "Oh My Dear Lord" (Danger to Myself EP) released in 2017 has over 13 million worldwide streams, and "Your Love Could Start a War" (Bed of Liars EP) released in 2017 has over 15 million worldwide streams. In 2019, they released a single called "Novocaine," which met with enthusiasm from their fans.
