Nimrat Khaira

Nimrat Khaira is an Indian singer, actress, and singer largely known for her work in the Punjabi entertainment industry. Born and brought up in Gurdaspur, Punjab, Khaira started singing when she was only 8 years of age. After winning the third season of the Punjabi musical reality show, Voice of Punjab, Khaira made her singing debut in 2015 with the song ‘Rab Karke’. It was in 2017 when she delivered one hit after another with her song ‘Dubai Wale Sheikh’ peaking on the UK Asian Chart. This song earned Khaira the award for the Best Female Vocalist at the Brit Asia Awards and a nomination at Filmfare Punjabi Award. She made her acting debut in 2017 in the Punjabi drama, ‘Lahoriye’ and her performance earned her Best Debut and Best Supporting Actress nominations at the Brit Asia Awards in 2018. Khaira more recently, featured in Diljit Dosanjh’s 2020 album, G.O.A.T on the song ‘Track Suit’ and has released a few singles of her own.
