Cui Jian (born 2 August 1961) is a Beijing-based Chinese singer-songwriter, trumpeter and guitarist.Affectionately called "Old Cui", he pioneered Chinese rock music.For this distinction Cui Jian is often labeled "The Father of Chinese Rock".
