Popularized the term "dreadlocks" (dreadlock hairstyles) in Indonesia through songs of the same name in 1996, Tony Q has become an icon of Indonesian reggae music.
Life & Career
On this first solo album Tony Q began to experience the peak of his career in reggae music without record company which almost bring him to take part in the Bob Marley Festival in the United States in 2002. Tony Q released the album "Presiden" in the context of the 2009 elections in Indonesia. According to Tony Q, this album was released to provide a discourse to the community of reggae music fans to know how to respond to the political conditions at that time.
