Santé

Santé, originating from Berlin, is part of a new school of artists championing musicality, skill and imagination over mindless loops and constant repetition. His productions, like those on his record label AVOTRE, oozed character, charm and humour, emotions too often ignored in the realms of house music.

Santé has grown hand in hand with the reputation of AVOTRE. His success has allowed the brand, formed in 2012, to grow incredibly quickly. It is now a well-established label that sells at least two international showcase events every month while continuing to serve as a 'go-to' label for the hottest underground events. In 2015, two more successful House Lessons releases were released – one by long-term friend Russ Yallop and the other by tour and production partner Sidney Charles. The House Lessons idea itself comes from the first release of the label, AVTR003 – Sidney Charles' brilliant track of the same name, which contributed to a musical idea entirely embraced by the Santé and AVOTRE families. Culminating in 2017 with the release of Santé's own House Lesson's LP, the twelve track concept album is a collection of collaborative tracks featuring some of the most influential house and techno musicians, including WAFF, Marshall Jefferson, and Solardo, among others.
