Fitz and the Tantrum is an American indie pop and neo soul band that formed in 2008.
Fitz and the Tantrums was founded by the lead vocals Michael Fitzpatrick in 2008. The band made their debut with EP "Songs forb a Breakup, Volume 1". After signing with Dangerbird Records, the band released their debut album "Pickin' Up the Pieces" on August 24, 2010. The single "MoneyGrabber" becomes popular and the band performed at several late night shows. However, in 2013, the band moving to Elektra Records and released LP "More Than Just a Dream". The second single from the album "The Walker" able to reached number one on the Billboard chart. Fitz and the Tantrum has unique style that described as "soul-influenced indie pop".
