Jeet Gannguli, popularly known as Jeet, is a Bengali and Hindi film scorer. Ganguli is a music director in Bollywood. Ganguli was introduced into the world of music at the age of three. He is trained in Indian classical music under the guidance of his father, Kali Ganguly, and his aunt, Shibani Roychowdhury. He studied classical western music, jazz and rock with jazz guitarist Carlton Kitto.
Gannguli got his big break when Sanjay Gadhvi had signed on to direct Tere Liye and he, in turn, had signed on to his friends Jeet Gannguli and Pritam as music composers. In 2002, Yash Raj Films signed Gadhvi to direct Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai, for which the Gannguli-Pritam duo composed the score. After the duo broke up, Jeet began to record music for Hindi and Bengali movies, TV shows, and Jingles. Jeet Gannguli also composed music for a single track sung by a well-known Hindi singer, Bengali.
