Devi Sri Prasad

Devi Sri Prasad is an Indian composer, lyricist, vocalist, and actor. He is best known in Tollywood (Telugu Music Industry) and Kollywood (Tamil Music Industry). He has won nine Filmfare Awards, eight of which are South Awards Filmfare Best Music Director and one South Best Background Music Filmfare, five CineMAA Awards-Best Music Director, and one Nandi Award for Best Music Director. Devi has also choreographed a song in the Tollywood film Kumari 21F, composing music for over 100 films in Telugu, Tamil, and a few other Indian languages as of 2019.

Devi Sri Prasad made his debut in Malayalam cinema with the film Kandahar. His soundtracks have been dubbed or remade in several other languages as well. Prasad has directed music for dozens of South Indian movies, including several box-office successes. Prasad is a disciple of the renowned mandolinist, U. Srinivas. His debut music album Dance Party and S. P. B. Charan was the kick start of his music career. Devi Sri Prasad has also won several prizes in the culture organized at an inter-school level for dance and singing competitions.
