Animal Collective is an American experimental pop band formed in Baltimore, Maryland in 2003. Its members and founders are Avey Tare (David Portner), Panda Bear (Noah Lennox), Deakin (Josh Dibb), and Geologist (Brian Weitz) .Members met in school and started recording their song together. They originally only have 2 member, and after they had 4 members, they relased the album titled "Here Comes the Indian" on 2003 . The band have their most commercially success album titled "Merriweather Post Pavilion" on 2009.
