Soweto

Soweto Group is a Brazilian musical group of romantic pagode, formed in the city of. In 1993.

Soweto's second record reached 1 million copies in a very short time. In 1999, the third album of the band is recorded, titled Farol das Estrelas. The album sold a million and a half copies, earning a Diamond Disc. The following year, vocalist Belo left the group to pursue a solo career. Since then, Soweto has undergone successive exchanges of its members.
