Kelis

A charismatic singer and songwriter who, for several years, was closely associated with the Neptunes, Kelis arrived at the tail-end of the '90s and left an immediate impression with her first solo single, 'Caught Out There' -- a Top Ten R&B single with a frank and screamed chorus.

Kelis began recording her debut album, Kaleidoscope, in mid-1998 and finished within a year. Kelis's second album, Wanderland, released in 2001 in Europe, Asia, and Latin America, but did not receive a North American release. Her third album, Tasty, also achieved great success. Kelis's fourth studio album, Kelis Was Here, released in 2006. Her sixth studio album, Food, released in 2014. In 2017, Kelis joined BBC One's singing contest Pitch Battle and stars as a judge of the competition along with Gareth Walsh. Two years later, Kelis released her second studio album, Wanderland, to streaming services, finally making it available 18 years after it's European release.
