Legião Urbana was a Brazilian rock band founded in 1982 in the city of Brasilia. It has a discography of eight studio albums, three compilations and six live albums (one of them without the presence of Renato Russo).

Legião Urbana was a Brazilian rock band formed in 1982 in Brasilia, Federal District. The band consisted mainly of Renato Russo (vocals, bass and keyboards), Dado Villa-Lobos (guitar) and Marcelo Bonfá (drums). The band Legião Urbana officially disbanded in 1996, after the death of singer Renato Russo. In data obtained by Pro-Música Brasil (ABPD), the Legião Urbana adds a total of more than 25 million records sold (an average of 250 thousand a year), being the second Brazilian musical group that sold more catalog discs in the besides being part of the so-called "sacred quartet" of Brazilian rock, along with the musical groups Barão Vermelho, Titãs and Paralamas do Sucesso.
